Wet traction on the X Fit HT is increased through larger circumferential grooves, multiple lateral grooves and hundreds of zig-zag sipes around the tread.
The tread is optimized to reduce unwanted road noise, and along with closed shoulder blocks, it does its job very well.
A segmented center rib gives the Laufenn AT a little more stability and on-center feel when driving at highway speeds.

Description
The tire's all-season tread compound features a protective layer of rubber under the tread surface that aids in preventing impact damage from rocks and other debris. Laufenn has also added high-tensile rubber to the sidewalls to deliver additional strength against potential damage when driving on gravel or other light terrain.
