Description

Build lifelong skills with strategies for responsible decision-making in social situations! In this 32-page journal, kids face various social decisions through scenarios and are asked “What Would You Do?”. Practicing decision-making in a low-risk environment helps kids develop and strengthen the ability to problem-solve, reflect, and be responsible for choices and the resulting outcomes. This journal focuses on two strategies for teaching responsible decision-making: Multiple Response and Pros and Cons. Realizing that there may be many choices for action, and considering multiple outcomes, both positive and negative, helps in making the best decision possible. Kids are shown how to consider outcomes and make a pros and cons list. Once a decision is made, reflection responses help kids understand and support their choice. Journals are 8.5” x 11” and come in a set of 12.
