According to Guy McLean, from his very first few days on earth, Spinabbey moved more like a gazelle than a foal – he spent more time with all four feet off the ground than he did with them on it! His captivating movement took McLean's breath away.
Spinabbey is now known for awe-inspiring maneuvers such as the canter backwards and the gallop sideways. Once, the pair executed 100 single time tempi flying changes in front of 5,000 people! There are so many more moments that have brought gasps of joy and raucous applause from crowds.
