Applicable material
5608 is gray, heavy duty double sided, pressure sensitive foam tape,for bonding metals and other high energy materials and smooth surfaces, such as metal,glass, marble, plastic, tile, wood , but not good to rough surfaces.
Method of use
1. Wipe the surface with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water,keep it clean and dry.
2. Cut the right size, stick on the surface，Apply a roll down force of at least 15 lbs with roller over the entire area.
3. Remove the protective liner to apply another surface.Apply at least 15 lbs pressure ensure good contact between the tape and the substrate surface.
Pressure and Time
This tapes is pressure-sensitive adhesives, the unique acrylic chemistry is extremely durable and the stickiness will gradually increase over time.Under 15 lbs of pressure ,50% in 20 Minutes,75% in 1 hours,100% in 24 hours.So please pay attention to the tape bonding time, release the pressure when bonding firm , especially when hanging heavy objects, at the initial bonding stage, the adhesive can be fixed with the help of stickers.
Application temperature
Ideal tape application is accomplished when temperature is between 59° and 100°F (15° and 38°C)and the bond is allowed to dwell 72 hours. Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended.The above requirements are for the first bonding of the surface, for the surface has been bonded, have good temperature resistance.
