When the crankshaft is rotated so that the slot in the handle locks into the engine cover alignment dowel pin, the engine is at TDC. Must-have tool for timing chain installation and adjustment.
These engines are not Free Wheel engines, please Do Not rotate the crankshaft and/or camshaft when removing the timing chain and installing the cylinder heads. If it has "Jumped Timing", it will cause damage to the Valves and/or Pistons, requiring removal of the cylinder heads.
