Description

The use of Gear Marking Compound is required when installing a ring and pinion gear set. It allows checking for a proper wear pattern, which ensures correct installation. This prevents the gears from howling (running noisy), running hot or even breaking. Each pack contains 2ml of gear marking compound and an application brush.
