AMFLEET I CAR with LIGHTED INTERIOR - BUSINESS CLASS #81516 - Phase VI - N Scale. Developed by the Budd Company in the mid-1970's, the Amfleet I was the first single-level passenger car developed exclusively for Amtrak. With over 350 still in service across the United States today, it remains the backbone of Amtrak's single-level passenger car fleet and can be found on regional as well as intercity trains from coast to coast. Bachmann's models now sport the popular Phase VI scheme with prototypical markings and colors.
