Description

Product description: This tool set includes 3 pipe cleaning brushes for drill: Kwalitistar's model InerLok050, InerLok075, and InerLok100. They are designed to clean copper / bronze / brass pipes and tubes with a diameter of 1/2-, 3/4-, and 1-inch (nominal sizes, measured O.D. around 5/8-in, 7/8-in, and 1(1/8)-in, respectively). The model Inerlok features a newly-engineered internal locking mechanism that anchors the brush housing and drive shank tightly. This update improves the durability of plastic housing and reduces the likelihood of shank spinning relative to housing. The 1/4-inch shank on the brush fits most power drills. They clean copper, brass, and bronze pipes and tubes for subsequent fluxing, soldering, sweating, brazing, or welding. Brush bristles are made with stainless-steel wires for effective cleaning. It is a tool kit for homeowners, DIYers, plumbers, and contractors, etc.
Instructions: 1. Safety first: please ensure necessary precautions & wear appropriate PPE that includes, but is not limited to, safety goggles, protective gloves, face masks, etc. 2. Use the pipe cleaning brushes only on a power drill, not an impact driver. Impact driver may cause damage to the tools or parts. 3. Set the drill to run at a low speed to avoid high torques. Low speed is sufficient to effectively clean pipes / tubes. 4. Make sure the drill is set to run in the clockwise direction. The brush is not designed to run counterclockwise. 5. Align the axis of the brush and pipes / tubes while using the tool. 6. Keep the drill running while inserting the pipe / tube and removing it from the brush. Do not reverse the direction of the drill at any point during the process.
