1/4" SHANK Cone Point Mandrel is a tapered and threaded mandrel for use to hold various Wheels, Buffs, and Abrasive cone points.
The sharp spiral threads on the mandrel provide a griping feature on the centers of the material being held.
Mandrel is ideal for use with 1/4" Collet Handpieces.
Mandrel is made of Hardened Steel, it is heat treated, and the taper on the threaded section is approximately 7 degrees, providing a good hold for the pinhole to 1/8" center hole wheel points etc...

Mandrel-Arbor can be used with many rotary tools, including Foredom #44, 43, and 28 Handpieces as well as Hand Drills and die grinders.
The tapered threads of this mandrel will hold and accommodate small Buffing Wheels, Rubberized and Polishing Felt Buffs, Points, Cones, Bullet shapes, and Cylinders.
