BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Febco Bronze Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of high hazard (toxic) fluids found in the water from entering into the potable water supply due to back-siphonage and/or backpressure.
COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: Designed for low head loss, this assembly is constructed with a durable bronze body, ensuring long-lasting performance and compliance with industry standards. It is equipped with threaded quarter turn ball valves, angle union connections, test cocks, spring-loaded Y pattern check valves, and a hydraulically dependent differential relief valve.
VERSATILE APPLICATION: Suitable for a wide range of applications, including water services to industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants. It is also used in irrigation systems, boiler feeds, water lines, and other installations where maximum protection is essential.
PRACTICAL DESIGN: Meeting all specifications of AWWA and ASSE, this compact integral assembly has an extremely short lay length, simplifying new and retrofit installations which are advantageous in areas of limited space. The integral flanged union connections allow it to be removed from the line for freeze protection or maintenance without the danger of spool substitution.

The Febco 825EBV70 1" Reduced Pressure Assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of high hazard (toxic) fluids found in the water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. It is used in water services to industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants and is also used in irrigation systems, boiler feed, water lines and other installations requiring maximum protection. This compact integral assembly with an extremely short lay length provides versatility and simplifies new and retrofit installations which are advantageous in areas of limited space. This assembly consists of threaded quarter turn ball valves, test cocks, spring loaded Y pattern check valves, and one hydraulically dependent differential relief valve.
The assembly shall be rated to 175psi (12.1 bar) water working pressure and water temperature range from 32°F to 140°F (0°C – 60°C).
