Open the velcro on the tail of toy and turn ON the switch, the motion sensor will be activated, then press the button on the cat toy's back to switch 3 patterns.

If your cat is more timid, you can use the chirping pattern first and wait until your cat is familiar with the toy before switching to the modes with flapping.

Turn ON the switch and chose anyone pattern, the flapping bird will enter the "attracting and teasing cat" status for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, it will automatically activated for 3 seconds every 30 seconds. Flying bird will change to sleep status after automatically activated five times.
No need to turn off the toy unless you don't want it to activate (ex: during night). The flapping mouse cat toy goes into auto-rest status unless it is touched.

Catnip Instructions: Insert catnip bag into side pound, seal the velcro of the cover. Don't use loose carnip inside toy as this may damage the machanism.

Cleaning the cover: Be sure to switch off and remove the mechanism & catnip from the toy before cleaning the outer cover. Easy to clean up.

USB Recharge: After turning OFF the mechanism, then charge with USB cable. A full charge takes about an hour, when the charging light from red to green, the charge is finished.
