Description

The Cretan Bull was a creature in Greek mythology that had an immense size and strength. It was created by Poseidon, the god of the sea, as a gift to King Minos of Crete, who promised to sacrifice the bull to Poseidon but failed to do so. This angered Poseidon and he made the Cretan Bull go wild and lay waste to the land. The Cretan Bull was captured and released by Hercules as one of his famous twelve labors and later It was killed by Theseus, Hero of Athens.
