Material Characteristics for Portable Water Applications
Push-Fit Fittings are suitable for portable water applications with a maximum chlorine concentrate of 4 ppm, For cold water applications only
*POM: Highly durable and resistant to fatigue and creep; It has high resistance to a wide range of organic& inorganic chemicals and detergents. Not recommended for use with strong acids or repeated exposure to strong oxidize. Direct exposure to sunlight will reduce fittings' service life and may lead to failure; All fittings and tubing should not be used near heart emitting appliances
*STTeeth:STS301 Stainless Steel, It has good corrosion resistance , heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties, and durable.
*NBR: Good Oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance, strong adhesion
Installation Instructions
*Step 1-Cut the Tubing
Cut the Water Line cleanly and squarely, ensure that the RO Tubing has a smooth outside diameter without any burrs, chamfers or score marks prior to inserting it into the RO fitting. Tubing that has not been cut properly can cause drips and leaks.
*Step 2-Insert the Tubing
Push the RODI tubing through the collet and O-rings until it bottoms out against the tube stop. The collet holds the tube in place and the o-ring provides a leak resistant seal, if you need to remove the tubing always re-cut before connection tubing again. Scores on tubing can cause failure.
*Step 3-Inspect and Test
Push and pull the tubing toward and away from the fitting to ensure that it has been installed properly. Test and inspect the installation for any leaks.
*Step 4-Tube Removal
Relieve pressure from the tubing and fitting. Push the collet flange against the fitting body while pulling the tubing away from the fitting to release it.
