Our Alnico IV sets just screams raw hard rock! Soaring mid-range response on these guys. Think of your classic 70's guitar slinging heroes from AC/DC to Led Zeppelin
The bridge pickup on our Alnico IV's are slightly overwound just under 9K, giving them the enough weight and balls required for all the blues rock flavours that are synonymous with the 70's rock songs that we are all familiar with. The neck pickups on the other hand are slightly under wound under to just around the lower 7K region to maintain the clarity. The Alinico IV's are designed as a pair to give the variation that you'll need for soaring leads and tight rhythm tones
Polepiece spacing: the neck is 50mm (1-31/32 inch), the bridge is 52mm (2-3/64 inch), mounting screw holes spacing: 78mm (3-5/64 inch). Resistance: 7.4K (neck) and 8.3K (bridge), tolerance: 0.5K; wiring: 4P Shield
