It's a long strip of military-grade steel coated in a soft, vibration absorbing, silicone. The mounting point is a tri-loop mounting point to reduce the overall profile of this addition to your helmet. Nobody wants bulky hardware, so we did our best to make it as small as possible! We are an American company based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
