If you're using them with home equipment, the Thru setting allows use with home audio equipment (4-ohm stable amplifier required). They're ready for work and play. The EC-series speakers can be set as Vertical or Horizontal by the supported mounting bracket that swivel back and forth, and they can also tilt up or down, plus or minus 25 degrees.
