This is the OEM AAA Battery Pack for UV-82 (MURS-V1 & GMRS-V2) series radios

It works on:

Using the AAA Battery Pack:
· 6 AAA NiMh/ NiCd cells (1.2V)

OR · 5 AAA Alkaline/ Zinc Carbon cells (1.5V) & 1 dummy AAA (included)
If you use 6 AAA Alkaline or Zinc Carbon cells, the receiver works but the radio won't transmit

Includes:
BL-8 AAA Battery Case
1 Dummy AAA (required for use with 5 Alkaline batteries)
