SATA to MAC Storage adapter, providing one 7+15pin connector on the host connection and two 12+6pin 17+7pin connector on the SSD storage devices connections. When assembled, it can operate in a variety of operating systems.
The 12+6pin and 17+7pin SSD can't work at same time. You need use the switch to convert it.
About the disk format: MAC format SSD only can be read at MAC-OS, You can format it as FAT/NTFS at "Disk Management" for Windows OS.
