Pressed round ventilation saddle take off for a 6 Inch duct . Outlet branch extension with diameter to fit a 4 Inch duct divertion. 90 degree angle. Made from quality galvanized steel.
Used as an element for ventilation T-piece production or as a way to branch a circular duct, semi-rigid ducts or flexible sono duct off the main duct run. Saddle branch extension has air tight rubber gasket for better fit.
When the system is designed with a main duct branching into many subsidiary branch ducts, take-offs allow a small portion of the flow in the main duct to be diverted into each branch duct.
Assembly - Place the saddle on the duct in the area where you will want it to be installed and then mark both inside and outside lines of the saddle with a marker. Drill a hole in the marked inner area and cut around with an angle grinder, jig saw or tin snips. To fit the saddle you will need to put a bead of silicone around the cut and place the saddle on top and apply pressure. To secure it we would recommend tek screws and another bead of silicone if required.
This will provide a good solution if you have no possibility to move the existing ducts. If you can remove the ducts, and reinstall with a T shape coupler, visit REPA MARKET store. We offer various solutions for most ducting connections.
