Aedes Ars Grenchen is a village located in the Northwest of Switzerland, about 45 km north of Bern, in the province of Solothurn, Switzerland. The foundation of the Burg Grenchen takes us to about 1000, when the wall and the castle, still Of wood, were constructed to the outskirts of the own town. The construction was part of a chain of castles in the Jura mountain range. During the 12th century some free aristocrats became the possessors of the castle.
