How to Use:
1.Insertthehydrometerto15cm(5.9in)belowthewaterofthewaterAquariumorfishponduntilthewateroverflowsthebaffle(slowlyfillwithwatertopreventtheupperairbubblesfromadheringtothepointer).
2.Whenthewaterisfull(levelwiththetopofthebaffle),takeoutthehydrometerandplaceitonalevel.
3.Airbubblesadheringtothepointerwillcauseinaccuratereadings.Carefullytapthehydrometertoshakeouttheadheringairbubbles.
4.Readthespecificgravityaccordingtotheinnerscale,andreadthesalinity(PPT)accordingtotheouterscale.Itisrecommendedthatthespecificgravityoftheseawaterintheseafoodpoolisbetween1.020‑1.023,thatis,withintheline.
5.Rinsewithwateraftereachuse.
