This set contains 2 pieces of brown pottery wheel bats with a diameter of 12inch(305mm)and a thickness of 1/3inch(8mm), and 4 sets of 304 stainless steel bat pins which measure 1inch length; enough to meet your needs for using, replacing, and sharing the fun of pottery with others.
The pottery wheel bat pin spacing is a standard 10 inches (254mm). The pottery bats we designed have two different-sized pin holes, one round and one oval, which can be easily adjusted to fit various wheel bats, as some wheels may have slightly wider or narrower pin spacing. (Especially after years of use).
This pottery bat is made of wood fiber, with a smooth surface and beveled edges designed to protect your hand. It is easy to clean and has good water absorption capacity; while the bat pin is made of 304 stainless steel, which does not easily rust and is strong and durable; this type of pottery rod provides reliable support for the clay during the molding process, and the finished pottery can be taken out directly to dry, effectively protecting the work from.
It is important to allow the bat to dry completely after use. After cleaning the bat, place it in the sun to dry (it is best to place the bat at an angle so the water flows faster). Both sides need to be dry to prevent deformation and thus extend the life of the bat.
