Martingale Collar is a great solution for your dog's training. The main difference between a martingale collar and a regular collar is that it tightens up as a dog pulls.There is an extra maringale ring than normal collar, so it wil be a little bigger than normal dog collar. The purpose of this is not to choke a dog, but to prevent a dog from escape the collar.

Please noted that the martingale size do not include the extra martingale ring length. The extra ring loop will tighten up when pulling, the extra martingale ring is nearly 5 inches when straightened.
