3M 501+ High Temperature Masking Tape was designed to deliver sharp, clean paint lines and is ideal for high-temperature paint baking, fascia painting, and powder coating applications. The high-strength purple crepe paper backing conforms to irregular surfaces, resists bleed-through from most industrial paint systems, and improves visibility and accuracy during the paint masking process. The 3M 501+ enhances paint quality and helps reduce rework with its sharp paint lines. It is easy to tear, which aids in handling, yet strong enough to resist slivering, providing "user friendly," one piece removal. Featuring a proprietary solvent-free adhesive, the tape sticks instantly to most surfaces, including metal, rubber, glass and plastic. Withstands surface temperatures up to 300º F / 150º C for 30 minutes.
