Never go beyond its capabilities. Try to stay 10 to 15% below what the rate is for
24-volt 5-prong relay. Primary leads use 12 a.w.g tinned copper wire. Coil leads use 16 a.w.g
SPDT relay: it has both normally open and normally closed terminals. Terminal 87A is powered when the relay is inactive and switches the power to terminal 87 when the relay is activated. In the case of dual ratings (40/30), the normally closed circuit is the lower of the two, so 30A (NC), 40A (NO)
The mounting lug is on the relay but can remove. Used for outside lights for utility shell/camper, car headlight, boat, electric fan, for wiring lights on equipment...
