Description
The OEMTOOLS 27032 Flange-Type Axle Puller makes easy work of removing stubborn rear axles on many vehicles. This heavy duty hub puller requires the OEMTOOLS 27033 Slide Hammer or any other slide hammer threaded 5/8" x 18 in order to fully function as a puller tool. Designed to work on flange-type axles that have 4, 5, or 6 studs and a bolt circle range between 4-1/2" and 5-1/2", this wheel hub removal tool can service a wide range of vehicles. Perhaps you have a leak in the axle, or you are hearing the whining and grinding of a bad wheel bearing. In order to fix either of these issues or other steering and suspension issues, a strong axle shaft bearing puller is needed. In all but the newest cars, the hub bearing will likely need a rear wheel bearing tool because it will be too seized to remove by hand. Some take out the entire knuckle and either hit the assembly with a hammer or use a hydraulic press to separate the wheel hub. Those methods could damage the assembly. Much safer and easier is to use the OEM TOOLS 27032 rear axle bearing removal tool. Instead of hitting the steering and suspension parts with a hammer, you can use this rear axle tool to pull the axle easily and quickly with the appropriate slide hammer kit. After elevating the car and removing both the rear tire and the rotor, thread this flange puller into the hub, and thread the slide hammer into the flange puller to pull the axle. After a few pulls on the wheel hub puller tool, the wheel axle should be free. For rear axle work on most vehicles, the OEMTOOLS 27032 Flange-Type Axle Puller saves you time, expense, and frustration.
The OEMTOOLS Tail Pipe Expander 2-1/8 Inch x 3-7/16 Inch is used to expand tailpipes so that aftermarket mufflers and tailpipes can be fitted to the exhaust system. It features an alloy steel construction for strength and durability.
