Here are the appropriate instructions for switching from Celsius to Fahrenheit:
※Before installing the unit into the motorcycle,
1. Connect the blue switched power source (ACC) to any 12v DC+ source.
2. Connect temperature and tach sensor wires (uninstalled).
3. Connect the black ground wire to a related 12v DX-source.
While all of the LCD areas are active when the unit powers on, press the mode button seven times. The unit will then switch to Fahrenheit.
4. Connect the red constant power source to a 12v DC+ battery.
5. Properly connect and install tach and temp wiring.
6. Start the motorcycle to apply 12v+ to blue wire, and gauge will display in Fahrenheit.
※Assuming that the device is already installed, since most people will do that first, here is a simple way to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit:
1. Disconnect the red 12v DC+ constant memory power source.
2. Wait for 10 seconds, start the motorcycle, and the gauge will light up entirely like an old calculator.
When this occurs, press the mode button seven times as quickly as possible, and it will switch to Fahrenheit.
3.Reconnect the red 12vDC+source. This wire is used for the memory; however, the change from Fahrenheit to Celsius is stored regardless.
