This 3 position rocker switch is double pole double throw dpdt switch with no light in it. It will be maintained at its pressed position.
The UP and DOWN position are on. And the CENTER position is off. It's commonly used for a car's winch in/out switch where reversing polarity is desired. It can also control a car's headlights high low beam, turn signal, or a boat's nav/anc light.
