APPLICATION APPLICATION -- Work for John Deere 3179 4239 6359 4276 6414 3029 4039 6059 6068 6619 Engines. Suitable for engines with 142 tooth flywheel ring gear and a 26.5 mm (1.04 in.) ID flywheel housing guide bore diameter.
DIRECT REPLACEMENT -- Alternative to OEM JDE83 & JDE81-4.
FUNCTION -- Used to rotate engine flywheel: To lock engine at "TDC" to check high pressure fuel pump timing. To check damper radial runout and piston protrusion. To check camshaft-to-crankshaft timing.
EASY INSTALLATION -- Slid the cover out and install the flywheel turning tool. Insert the timing pin (not includes) into the timing mark. Attached a socket to the turning Tool and turn the crankshaft wheel until the timing pin is engaged by the pin socket. This will ensure the engine is in the correct timing position.
