Some Club Car models require modifying your golf cart to bypass the OBC (On Board Computer) for a after market charger to function. The models are as the following:

2015-Present 48V Club Car Precedent Don't require OBC Bypass Modification

How to Bypass OBC:
you just need to connect the 12 gauge black wire from the negative terminal of this battery to where the black wire attaches to the back of the receptacle (charging socket)
