Seachrome's Natural Teak Wood Tub Seats are crafted using 100% heartwood grade pieces of the finest natural teak wood. The tub seat has its own unique natural wood grain pattern and fits best with Alcove bathtubs and is not recommended for free-standing tubs. Its wide seat surface supports up to 250 pounds and satisfies all ADA code requirements when properly installed. The rear-hung tub seat easily folds up and is automatically held in a raised position 3” against the wall by a stainless-steel friction hinge bracket. The friction hinge bracket is engineered to provide a smooth consistent resistance when raising and lowering the seat and is constructed with high-quality #304 stainless steel. The tub frame is lined with rubber pads to provide protection tub surfaces when lowered into its down positions.
