The 5 x 1-1/8-inch aluminum soft vise jaws with magnets are constructed from a hardened aluminum alloy with two built-in circular permanent magnets on the backside which holds the workpiece securely to the vise. These aluminum jaws are designed to protect both the vise jaws and the workpiece from marring and distortion during any clamping application. The jaws also have grooves to ensure tight holding of different shapes of work pieces. Aluminum alloy design includes straight grooves to compensate for the unevenness of the workpiece. One of the included pairs is aluminum alloy with a synthetic rubber cover with a jaw cap that conforms to workpiece and grips firmly without slipping while protecting the work surface.
