The Concrete Crack Displacement Monitor is a precise tool designed to track movement across cracks, ensuring structural integrity. To install, align the bottom plate parallel to the crack and secure it with screws, raw plugs, and adhesive. Then, position the top plate opposite the crack, ensuring a 90° alignment, and secure it in place similarly. For displacement monitoring, observe where the black scale extends beyond the top plate, and record the reading. For horizontal monitoring, align the black line on the ruler with the red scale on the top plate and record the measurement. Document all readings on the provided record sheet, noting the date for reference. The monitor accurately measures horizontal and displacement movements, with a range of 110 mm for displacement and -10 mm to +50 mm for horizontal monitoring. It can be easily fixed with screws or adhesive (not included) and comes with comprehensive instructions for use.
