UTP SERIES: Caplugs UTP Series Universal Thread Plugs has a unique design that offers flexibility so that it can be used to fit many thread sizes. These plugs are easily installed by pushing into a female threaded port, locking into place with a small turn. Also available in a high-density material.
WIDE VARIETY OF USES: The reason these plugs are referred to as universal is that, due to the flexibility of the design, they can fit numerous thread sizes and styles. These include NPT, UN, UNF, BSP, and M. Though it may be one plug, it has several uses, saving you time and money.
DIFFERENT SIZES AVAILABLE: As there are many different kinds of thread sizes, there are many different sizes of the UTP Plugs. This particular plug fits the following thread sizes / styles: 1/4 NPT, 9/16 UNF, M14. The dimensions are as following: Plug Head Height 0.31" x Total Height 0.59".
WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE: The low-density polyethylene (PE-LD) that these universal thread plugs are made from is not only durable, but it can also withstand a wide temperature range from hot to cold. The Caplugs UTP Series of Universal Thread Plugs can provide service from -94 to 175° Fahrenheit, or -70 to 79° Celsius.
