Rest easy with Res Care Liquid Water Softener Cleaner. It cleans what salt leaves behind and is easy to use. First Application Instructions: Use 1/2 cup (4 ounces) of Res Care per cubic foot of softener resin. Most residential softeners contain approximately 1 cubic foot of resin; if unsure, check your manual. Pour the cleaner directly into the brine well. If there's no brine well, pour directly into the salt tank when salt is low. Manually regenerate the softener. If taste or odor is detected in tap water, manually regenerate softener, then run cold water until the odor is gone. Regular Maintenance Instructions: Add 1/2 cup (4 ounces) per cubic foot of resin at each regeneration.
