These include: 1x training scissors, 1x Adson forceps (tweezers with teeth), 1x Hegar needle holder, 1x Mosquito forceps, 1x 3# scalpel handle, 16x mixed suture threads, 3x 10# blades, 1x PU leather bag. These tools are designed for suture training and practice only but they are not suitable for use in any actual surgical purposes.
  • This suture set contains 16 packs of mixed sterile sutures with needles. They are 4 non-absorbable training sutures: Nylon 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, 5/0; Polyester 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, 5/0; Polypropylene 2/ 0, 3/0, 4/0, 5/0; and Silk 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, 5/0. These are great tools for wound closure practice and are designed for VETERINARY USE but may be included in a medical student's suturing kit for TRAINING PURPOSES only.
  • The sturdy tools are made to provide long, long-lasting service. They can be sterilized, boiled in water, and even autoclaved. The ratchets of the needle holder and mosquito forceps require a certain amount of force to lock and unlock their grip. It helps you practice your strength in arm and fingers. The scissors are sharp and open smoothly.
  • Tool kit includes a custom-designed case to store the tools in an orderly and easily-accessible manner. The case is made of soft PU leather, odorless, light weight, and comes in your choice of three colors: pink, green or blue. The custom case also helps protect other items from being scratched by the tools when carried together in a pocket or bag. More importantly, the case will protect your hands from being poked, scratched, or cut when you rummage for the tool kit in your pocket or bag.

Our leather case is made of polyurethane synthetic leather (PU leather). The material is soft and shiny but it is also breathable and odor-free. It will not stiffen, harden, nor become brittle over time. Rugged and long-lasting, it will provide a long service life.

Tool maintenance:
After use, clean tools with water and dry them in a cool place to prevent rust.
Leather case maintenance:
1. Clean using soap and water. Avoid the use of organic solvents including alcohol and gasoline. Dry using a towel.
2. The case cannot be cleaned using chemicals nor dry cleaned. Use only water (plus mild soap or detergent). The water temperature should not exceed 40°C (104° F).
3. Do not expose it to direct sunlight after washing; place it in a cool location for drying.
