Continuing the comfort trend, Yonex incorporates the Tri-Shut System of three different materials: Vibslayer Carbon, Shock-less Grommets, and Vibration Dampening Mesh. VDM is a stretchy mesh material wrapped around the graphite inside the handle to filter out unwanted vibrations. The handle of the ASTREL 115 features Yonex' Ergo Power Grip which means the grip is larger at the bottom, and thinner towards the top of the grip.
