Designed for both AC and DC systems, it provides protection for service panels, load centers, or where the SPD is directly connected to electronic equipment requiring protection. 3.The SPD is available in three different voltages to maximize the level of protection required. Protection is achieved by reducing the clamping voltage to a safe voltage that the system can withstand without damaging any electronics in the system.
