This USB programming cable allows you to connect a PC and the Bafang BBS01/BBS02/HD Mid Drive Motors E-Bike Kit to change the basic user level controller parameters, this does not allow changing the firmware and is safe for you to guide;
The changes were made based on customer requests to improve the following complaints: Have the throttle act more smooth instead of like an on/off switch, reduce the current draw from 25 amps to 18 amps without sacrificing performance to lifespan of the battery and motor, allow full throttle to accelerate in PAS stages, throttle over the maximum speed limit (max speed only applies to PAS).
Compatible with BBS01, BBS02 and HD engines.
