Instructions
1. Turn off power to the control panel at the circuit breaker.
2. Gently squeeze the long sides of the plastic motor cover and pull to remove the cover from the base.
3. Disconnect the damper motor wires.
4. Remove the motor mounting screws and motor.
5. Install the new motor. Align the flat surface of the motor shaft with the flat surface in the spool under the cover (rectangular dampers) or motor bracket (round dampers). If necessary, rotate the motor to accomplish this.
6. Once the motor shaft is inserted into the spool, rotate the motor so that the protrusions on the motor align with the mounting holes.
7. Tighten the motor mounting screws.
8. Rewire the damper motor.
9. Turn power back on and check operation by invoking heating or cooling in the area that was not powered by the repaired damper.
10. Reinstall the cover and tighten the retaining screws.
NOTE: There will be a 5-minute time delay after power is applied to the control panel.
