Tips for Compatibility Checking :

If you don't know the type of drive system of your rotary hammer drill or you are not sure if this adapter is compatible with your tool, please follow the following steps to check the compatibility of your rotary hammer drill with this adapter.

1) First check if your rotary hammer drill is using a drill bit that has the same type of shank as this adapter. If it is not spline shank that has continuous vertical slots around the entire shank like a gear, your rotary hammer drill is not a spline drive one and does not fit with this adapter.

2) If the shank of drill bit your rotary hammer drill is using is a spline type one, please check if it has 12 continuous vertical splines or slots on the shank. If the number of splines or slots is different, this adapter does not fit your rotary hammer drill.

3) If the shank of drill bit your rotary hammer drill is using has 12 splines or slots, please also check the diameter of the shank. It should be 3/4 inch of diameter with the splines, and 5/8 inch of inner diameter without the splines (measuring the diameter in slots). If the diameters are different, then this adapter is not compatible with your rotary hammer drill.
