Scope of application: Used for high-power or Class A power amplifier power input, high-power isolation transformer or other high-start current machine applications. The use power is suitable within 5000W.
main feature:
The function of the soft start board is to reduce the impact current at the moment of starting to reduce the impact of the machine on the power grid and extend the life of the switch. This board uses a high-current 40A pin relay and 10 thermistors to effectively protect the machine and prevent excessive startup current.
This board does not require auxiliary power supply, and only has 2 wiring terminals, one for power input and one output for load, which is very convenient to use.

working principle:

At the initial stage of power-on, the thermistor with negative temperature coefficient is used to supply power to the load to limit the instantaneous current. As the temperature of the thermistor rises, the resistance decreases, and the load is close to the normal working state. After about 3 seconds, the relay is closed and short-circuited. The thermistor, the power supply will directly supply power to the load through the relay contact, and the load will enter the normal working state. Thereby, the impact of the surge current on the line and the impact on other electrical appliances is effectively suppressed, and the instantaneous large current impact of the load is avoided and the load life is extended.

3. Wiring base: 9.5MM large pitch wiring base.
The maximum operating current of 30A is much larger than the 7.62mm pitch. The step-down capacitor is an AV capacitor and can be a reverse protection diode for the relay.
Note: The soft start board is only used to limit the start-up current to prevent shock, and it is powered on when it is turned on.
It is not a delay switch.If you need to turn on the power after a period of time, please use the optional delay switch.
