9131 is an A8 target variant developed specifically for precision shooters.
The 9131 is a multipurpose target that features a scorable bullseye-style target and a True Minute of Angle (MOA) grid. Its design aids in conducting accuracy drills with scores or zeroing precision weapons and optics, all in one target.
9131 uses the same science as the A8 to draw the shooter's eye to the center of visible mass. It adds an additional .5-centimeter square in the middle of the diamond to add more points of reference and an even more defined point of aim for precision shooters.
The bull of the 9131 is a scaled representation of the B-8 featured in US Army Training Circular (TC) 3-20.40, giving the precision shooter a similar target presentation when zeroing at 100 meters and verifying at 500 meters. Dotted rings measure 1, 2, and 3 minutes of angle (MOA) true, allowing trainers and shooters to quickly validate shot groups are within US Army standards as published in TC 3-20.40
9131 features a .1 milliradian (mRad/ mil) grid for zeroing mil-based aiming devices at 100 meters.
Rite in the Rain heavy cardstock provides clean bullet holes in any weather conditions, rain or shine. It withstands the most punishing of rainstorms while still showing easy to read hits with greater fidelity.
8 ½ x 11” sheets make it easy to keep used targets in binders for data and load development records. Data fields at the bottom of the target are perfect for annotating DOPE.
Description
The Rite in the Rain® 9131 is a purpose-built target for precision shooters with mil-based aiming devices. The target design was scientifically based to attract the shooter's eye to the center of the target and provides multiple points of reference for a well-defined sight picture. Its grid is easy to read for adjusting aiming devices and provides a .1 mil grid at 100 meters, .2 mils at 50. The 1-, 2-, and 3 MOA rings allow a quick evaluation to determine whether the shot group meets US Army standards for precision shooters. Our thick, water-resistant 100-lb paper stock repels moisture and creates clean, crisp bullet holes for reading shot placement. The paper strength also reduces instances where closely grouped shots blow out chunks of the target and make it difficult to read groups. The 9131 should be in any precision rifle shooter's range bag. Shoot in any weather conditions and push your skills in the elements, knowing Rite in the Rain® targets will help compile the data you're looking for.
