Connect a U.2 (SFF-8639) SSD to a M.2 (M key) slot in a system via a SFF-8643 to SFF-8639 cable. (wtihout SFF-8643 to U.2 (SFF-8639) Cable).
Standard M.2 22110/2280/2260 size, stamp opening design, can be cut to size as required. Requires motherboard support for NVMe protocol.
The hard disk signal cable runs directly through the PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD slot of your machine, and conversion does not require a chip, without any limitations on hard disk performance, etc.
No need to install drivers, support for Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016/2019, RHEL/CentOS 6/7/8, Debian 9/10/11, Ubuntu 16/18/20/21, SUES 11/12/15, FreeBSD 11/12/13, VMware ESXi 6/7. (Note: NVMe native driver for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is available from Microsoft Knowledge Base, KB2990941).
If you want to form raid, please be sure to use 2 hard disks with the same specifications and the same model, so as to ensure the consistency of hard disk performance. Whether or not you can form a raid is up to your motherboard. It has nothing to do with the adapter card. Our store cannot provide technical support.
