Description

The FS204-US fits into a single 5.25" bay and can house four 2.5" U.2 (SFF-8639) SSDs. The U.2 SSD form factor supports the NVMe standard protocol and PCIe 4.0 x4 bus, typically used in high-performance servers and data centers. The FS204-US features a backplane with four SlimSAS 4i (SFF-8654) connectors, capable of reaching up to 32Gbps per channel, depending on the drives' capabilities. To manage heat generated by U.2 SSDs, the unit includes two 40mm x 20mm cooling fans. Additionally, the FS204-US is equipped with LED indicators to provide at-a-glance information on drive operational status and includes independent security locks for enhanced protection.
