How to use the chamber pads: thread a star pad onto the cleaning rod adapter,use the nut to keep the pad tight fit on the rod adapter and insert into the chamber. The pad is cut to fit the locking lugs of the 7.62mm .308cal star chamber. You can then twist the rod/pad clockwise to wipe behind the lugs.
Male end with standard 8-32 threads.
