It is highly recommended that read the following content before you purchase. 1. Lithium thionyl chloride battery has a passivation characteristic. Therefore, we highly recommend customers use the battery within approximately 2-3 months, depending on the storage condition to receive optimal performance. Although our batteries have a 10-year shelf life (under special storage conditions), we advise customers not to store batteries for a long time due to the passivation characteristic. 2. If your battery doesn't work when connected to the device, what to do? 2-1 Test the OCV(Open Circuit Voltage). You can use the multi-meter to test the voltage. Standard voltage should be no less than 3.6V. If your battery is lower than 3.6V, please tell us. 2-2 Test loading voltage. The loading voltage should be around 3.2V. If your loading voltage is higher than 3.2V, the battery is in good condition. Due to the passivation characteristic of lithium thionyl chloride, your loading voltage may not reach 3.2V immediately. You can connect the battery with a resistor and activate it with a multimeter. When the loading voltage of the battery reaches 3.2V, then the activation is successful and the battery can be used. 2-3 If the battery still won't kick into gear after all that, or if it's still not working after activation, just give us a shout and we'll help you out. 3. Please avoid charging, short-circuiting, puncturing, disassembling, deforming, heating, incinerating, or placing the battery near an open flame. This battery contains flammable materials like lithium and organic solvents, and any of these actions could lead to ignition, explosion, or damage. 4. Never over-discharge or force discharge the battery. Over-discharging can lead to the potential for explosion. If this happens and the battery is connected to an external power source or in series with other batteries, there's a risk of explosion. 5. Keep this battery away from children. If it's ingested, seek medical attention right away. 6. After using the battery, internal pressure can build up. When storing or disposing of it, tape the battery securely and handle with care. Contact with other metal objects could cause a fire or damage. 7. Make sure to insert the battery with the "+" and "-" ends facing the correct direction. 8. Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types. 9. Do not solder the battery directly. 10. Avoid storing the battery in direct sunlight or in places that are too hot and humid.
