GBA SD Cartridge Flash Cart Game Cartridge Support TF Card for GBA/SP/GBM/IDS/NDS/NDSL for GameBoy Advanced, FAT Format, Maximum Capacity to 2Gb, New Version
Make sure your SD card is formatted in FAT (FAT16) format; otherwise, it won't be detected.
Compatible with SD cards up to 2GB (max capaticy). It's best to use a low-speed SD card. If the card isn't recognized, it might be larger than 2GB or a high-speed SDHC type. Please ensure you use the correct SD card, preferably the original one.
Avoid pressing the FOR GBA microswitch when inserting the card. Works for GBA/SP/GBM/IDS/NDS/NDSL for Gameboy. Once inserted, the menu will appear on the screen.
For best performance, use a reliable SD card brand, such as for PNY. This device supports GB, GBA, and NES files through emulation (except for GBA, which runs natively).
Important: This cartridge is not compatible with the GBA SP console. Avoid playing games or switching the SD card while the device is powered on, as this may harm the SD card. Always recharge after use to prevent damage. Mini SD does not use the card directly, you must convert files before playing.
Description
This device is primarily designed for Windows, but it also works for MAC OSX and for Linux systems.
To use GBA and DS files, you need to convert them first using the Supercard. Download the "SC MiniSD v2.71" conversion software. For Windows, make sure to run the software in compatibility mode (WinXP SP2).
Keep your files organized into folders with no more than 65 files in each. The system will only detect up to 65 files per folder, but you can create as many folders as your SD card can hold.
For GBA files, use the following button combinations:
- L + R + B + SELECT: Opens the Real-Time Save menu.
- L + R + A + SELECT: Opens the Normal Save menu.
- L + R + START + SELECT: Resets to the main menu.
To save your GBA game progress, you must return to the main menu. Navigate to the SAVE menu, find the game file, press A to bring up the save prompt, and choose "YES" to save your progress to the SD card.
For non-GBA games, saving won't work without a matching .SAV file. Create or rename a 64KB .SAV file to match the game's name and place it in the same folder as the game file. For example, if your game file is named "gamename.rom", ensure there is a file named "gamename.sav" in the same folder.
