A loopback tester allows you to send and receive data from the same serial port to verify that the port is operational. This serial loop back tester will provide you with the ability to diagnose any problems with your DB25 or DB9 serial port or DB25 serial cable. This will not work as an adapter because the wires are wrapped around. They do not go from end to end.
