Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC): eARC can transmit HIFI audio back from TV to AVR system. Supported audio formats include PCM 7.1 192KHz, Dolby digital, DTS 5.1CH, Dolby Digital Plus, and lossless audio formats including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-X.
HDMI 2.0 & HDCP 2.3 Compliant: The eARC extender also supports rich HDR video formats. It Supports 4K60Hz Chroma:444 (8bit) HDR10 and Dolby Vision up to 40m(130ft) over Cat5e/6/7 cable. HDCP2.3 compliant and with 18Gbps bandwidth.
Bi-Directional IR, CEC & PoC: Transmitter powers the receiver over CatX cable so only one adapter required. CEC allows the TV remote to control AVR and IR sensors allow you to remotely control signal from transmitter to receiver, or from receiver to transmitter.
Important note: If your TV is HDMI eARC enabled, but your AV amp or soundbar is only compatible with HDMI ARC, it'll handshake to HDMI ARC and transmit basic 5.1CH surround. And this extender does not support connecting to router or switch.
